The Prairie Women’s Sewing Circle is a club meant to take its participants on a journey to the past, circa 1840-1900.  We will explore the daily lives of ordinary women of the era, many of whom left their families and traveled westward, facing incredible challenges just to live their daily lives.
Each month we will have a quilt pattern project.
Journey 2 Begins in April and we will be having two meeting times.
One meeting time will be at 10am on the second Monday of each month, beginning April 8, 2013 and continuing through September, 2013. The other meeting time will be on Saturday at 1pm. Those dates are April 13, May 11, June 15, July 20, Aug. 17 and Sept. 21.  The cost for the six month club is a one-time club fee of $50.  The fee includes monthly meeting dues, a pattern each month, one bonus patterns and more.  We will offer kits for each month’s project, or members may create their projects using their own fabric choices.
